Hotkey Labs is built on one idea: a shortcut, the single key that gets you there faster. Below is how that idea shaped our logo, our brand identity, and this website.
The logomark
A macropad that spells H.
- Nine keys. A 3×3 macropad: 28-unit keys on an 8-unit gap, each with a 7-unit corner radius.
- Seven is all we need. The pressed keys spell H. The two left unpressed are the negative space that makes it read.
- One hot. The center key is always Key Orange, #EC5B35. It’s the shortcut that steers this whole site: press ⌘K anywhere and it takes you wherever you need to go.
- Built to scale. Pure geometry, so it stays crisp from a 16px favicon to a billboard.

Theme
